The Golden Circle, Monster Truck & Snowmobiling

The Golden Circle is Iceland's Number 1 sightseeing route—visitors travel from across the world to see the route's main attractions!
A Super Truck will take you up onto the glacier; the only vehicle, save a snowmobile, that can handle the ice cap's terrain.
The majority of snowmobiling guides in Iceland have practiced the sport for years!
A frozen waterfall makes for an incredible visual display, a scene straight out of Narnia!
Snowmobiling is an exciting way of breaking up the Golden Circle sightseeing route.
Strokkur is only one third of the famous Golden Circle sightseeing route—this hot spring spurts out boiling water every five to ten minutes.

Embark on the adventure of a lifetime on this day tour of snowmobiling, sightseeing and mountain tracking on top of an Icelandic glacier, with the added marvels of the sights of the Golden Circle. This is a tour for any seeker of thrills wanting to experience the authentic natural wonders of the island of ice and fire.

After getting picked up at decided locations in Reykjavík City, a Super-Jeep will take you to your destination. En route, you will behold the primary sights of the Golden Circle, including Þingvellir National Park, the geothermal valley of Haukadalur, and the magnificent waterfall Gullfoss.

Þingvellir is listed as a World Heritage site, boasting of a unique terrain where two tectonic plates meet, as well as being the location of Iceland’s very first Parliament Alþingi. In Haukadalur, you will encounter the two famous geysers Geysir and Strokkur, the latter of which still sprouts boiling water into the air every few minutes.

You will then head on through the mountainous and uniquely scenic terrain of the Icelandic Highlands, where you will reach your destination of Langjökull, the second largest icecap in Iceland. Riding in a Super-Jeep is an experience on its own, with the 4x4 monsters being specially modified to venture across the rough surroundings of the Highlands.

Once you arrive, get ready to fly across the icy terrain on a speedy snowmobile. The exhilarating one-hour ride allows you to experience the glacier to its full extent, as the frosty air fills your lungs and your eyes behold the glistening ice formations of your trail.

This tour is the perfect mix of the island’s top attractions, along with its completely unspoilt sites, with the added fun of snowmobiling.
