The panoramic view up there is an experience all to it self!
On a snowmobile tour on Eyjafjallajokull glacier you will be provided with all protective gear and safety equipment needed for a safe ride.
Numerous ice sculptures and snow formation dot Eyjafjallajökull's exterior.

Join the snowmobiling adventure of a lifetime and whizz over the mighty Eyjafjallajökull glacier-volcano, while getting a gorgeous view over Iceland's spectacular South coast.

While the glacier is amazing from below, nothing beats experiencing it from its surface, especially at high speeds. This tour is the perfect option for those looking for a scenic, fun ride, exploring and experiencing the wilderness, the glacier and the breathtaking views over south Iceland.

Eyjafjallajökull is Iceland's sixth largest ice cap with a summit elevation of 1,666 metres (5,465 ft). It covers the caldera of a volcano which has erupted relatively frequently since the last glacial period, most recently in 2010 when its eruption caused enormous disruption to air travel across western and northern Europe.

There is, however, no need to worry - the glacier is monitored closely and tours will never be conducted there if it shows the slightest signs of preparing for an eruption.

Your guides will take you through all the fundamental safety procedures and equip you with special clothing and helmets. They then provide you with everything you need for a safe and comfortable ride.

You'll dress up in a snowsuit and hop into a super jeep that takes you onto the glacier.

Once there, you will be matched with a snowmobile and head out onto the glacier. The snowmobiles are easy to drive, as it is just a matter of squeezing the accelerator or the brake.

Snowmobiling on top of Eyjafjallajökull glacier is an extraordinary experience and this 2-hour snowmobiling tour is the perfect length of time for experienced and first-time riders alike  (about 1 hour on the snowmobile).

During the ride, you will not only intimately get to know the essence of one of Iceland's most stunning glaciers, but you will also be exposed to stunning landscapes and views that are sure to leave memories to last a lifetime.
