Your Icelandic lobster dinner is prepared with the national flair for creativity and ingenuity.

Witness the marvellous Northern Lights, and enjoy a traditional Icelandic lobster dinner, with this wonderful evening from Reykjavík. This tour should not be missed by those seeking a quintessential Icelandic experience.

The excursion begins when you are picked up from the capital Reykjavík, and whisked far from the city lights, to the black sands of the South Coast. As you travel, the sky will already be dark or darkening, meaning you can start to aurora hunt immediately.

Of course, your guide is an expert in locating the Northern Lights; he will be following the forecast of the cloud cover to find the clearest spots and hidden places where few other tour buses will be heading.

You’ll hunt for the Northern Lights the entire time it takes to reach the restaurant where your lobster dinner awaits. Do not worry if you have not spotted them yet; you will have another opportunity to search for them after your delicious Icelandic meal.

Icelandic lobster is actually langoustine, but tastes very similar and is prepared with ingenuity and skill. The restaurant has craft beers made in Iceland, as well as the national spirit, Brennivin.

After enjoying dinner and a few drinks, your Northern Lights hunt will resume as you return to Reykjavík. When the auroras start to descend, your guide will find a perfect place to pull up, and you can exit and marvel over their ethereal beauty. Your guide can also help you with your camera settings to allow you to capture this once-in-a-lifetime moment.

Do not despair if luck has it that you don’t see the lights this night; you will get another opportunity to do this part of the tour for free.

Enjoy a lobster dinner, and witness the aurora borealis. Check availability by choosing a date.
