Golden Circle Sightseeing & Snowmobiling | Small Group Tour

Going snowmobiling on Langjökull is one of the best ways to realize the powers of a glacier in Iceland.
Get ready to feel free and unhinged as you zoom across the surface of a glacier in Iceland after having taking in the sights of the Golden Circle.
Going snowmobiling is one of the most exciting activities available in Iceland today.
Þingvellir National Park and geological wonder valley is gorgeous in its autumn colours and one of the prime attractions of the Golden Circle route, Iceland's most popular sightseeing venue.
Þingvellir is not only geologically fascinating because of its continental drifting, but stunning to look at as a result, as the lava and glacier rivers come together in a colourful landscape.
Gullfoss has often been called the King of all waterfalls in Iceland, and constitutes as the main attraction of the Golden Circle sightseeing route.

Don't miss out this fantastic Golden Circle sightseeing tour with the added excursion of snowmobiling on Langjökull glacier, the second largest ice-cap in Iceland. This is the optimum tour choice for travellers looking to experience both natural beauty and a touch of action during their time in Iceland.

Your first stop will be at Þingvellir National Park, the first stop on the Golden Circle, roughly forty minutes' drive from the capital. Here, you will see one of the earth's great wonders, the rift valley between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. Walking directly between two continents, you will be able to appreciate the unique political and social history of this amazing place, as well as soak in the mossy volcanic fields, waterfalls and glacial springs that make up the park.

Next, you'll visit the Geysir area at Haukadalur. Geysir, the spouting hot spring which gave its name to this phenomenon, now erupts very rarely. Nearby Strokkur, can be relied upon to spout grey fountains of boiling water and jets of steam every few minutes. These scalding expulsions often reach a height of 30 meters. There are also many other smaller hot springs, fumaroles and bubbling mud pools to see here.

Gullfoss beckons you next. Feel the spray on your face and stand in silent wonder as the almost unimaginably powerful falls drops 32 metres down two cragged steps. Such is the power of the mighty Hvítá ("The White River") which flows through Gullfoss. Where is the source of so much water? Langjökull glacier, of course, your next stop on this adventure.

You will take the mountain road up onto Langjökull glacier for the snowmobile trip of a lifetime. At base camp, you will be provided with snowmobiling clothes, some safety information and a few operational instructions before skimming off to explore the great white kingdom of Langjökull. Don't forget your camera!

So hurry now and you too can experience the grandeur of this brilliant combo tour exploring the attractions of the Golden Circle sightseeing route, as well as try your hand at snowmobiling on Langjökull glacier. Check availability by choosing a date.
