This moderately challenging hiking day trip takes you to the impressive Falljokull Glacier, an outlet glacier of Vatnajokull glacier. Vatnajokull is the country's largest glacier as well as being the largest glacier in all Europe!

During this 5 hour tour you will be accompanied by a certified glacier guide. Your guide will provide you with a safety briefing upon arrival to the ice cap where you will also be provided with all of the necessary glacier gear to be able to safely explore the glacier. Heading on to the ice, experience dramatically carved landscape, impressive ice formations and crevasses. Get a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains that surround the glacier. You will spend approximately 3.5 hours on the actual ice where you will get the chance to enjoy vast sweeping panoramic views of the area.

This trip provides plenty of photo opportunities so make sure to bring your camera along. The tour is operated in a small group, limited to 12 participants per guide, ensuring a more personalized experience. Your guide will tell you all about the formations of the glacier in order for you to gain a deeper understanding of the mesmerizing glacier. Cancellation policy:
You can cancel your day trip with out further costs with one weeks notice. You can cancel your multi day adventure or trek with out further costs with two weeks notice. Depending on your trip you may be able to get partly refunded for your trip down to 48 hours before your trip. But less then 48 hours before your trip no refunds are made. If you are booking a group then the final number of participants given 48 hours before the trip is undertaken is the number of participants you will have to pay for and hence no refunds are made for cancellations made less then 48 hours before a trip.
