Explore the world-famous Golden Circle and the South Coast of Iceland on this mini-bus adventure. You will start in the country's capital, Reykjavik. From here you will spend three days visiting Iceland's most beautiful sites; including those on the Golden Circle and South Coast, as well as a few hidden gems.

On this tour, you will visit the world-famous Golden Circle. Explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Þingvellir National Park, the beautiful Gullfoss waterfall and Geysir geothermal area. Also, we will stop at Friðheimar tomato farm, a unique experience where you have the option to dine among the tomato orchard. To finish off the day, we will visit the Secret Lagoon, where you can choose to take a dip and relax after a long day! At night, why not have a look for the Northern Lights.

The following day you will see the wonders of the South Coast; including Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls, Reynisfjara black sand beach and Sólheimajökull glacier. Here you will have the option of participating in a glacier walk. 

On the final day, travel onward to Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and the famous Diamond Beach. You could choose to visit an Ice Cave in Vatnajökull glacier nearby. From there, you will head back to Reykjavik.

During the tour, you will see some incredible sights. You will also have the opportunity to book extra activities to make your trip even more special and enjoyable. These include lunch in a greenhouse at Friðheimar tomato farm, the Secret Lagoon, Glacier Walk and Ice Cave excursion.

The Northern lights are a natural phenomenon, and therefore cannot be quaranteed, but the itinerary is designed to maximize your chances to see them if the weather conditions allow it. Please be advised that there is no specific Northern Lights hunt on this tour, but your guide will notify you if the conditions are favourable and advise you on how to best spot them.

The weather plays a large role in Iceland. It can happen that the weather conditions affect our schedule and an activity might be cancelled. If your chosen activity is cancelled, we refund that activity. Surface can be slippery in the wintertime and we advise that you bring shoes with slip resistant soles and/or ice grip shoe covers.



Daily itinerary

Day 1 - Golden Circle, Fridheimar & The Secret Lagoon

Your tour starts in Reykjavik. After being picked up by the minibus, you will head out towards the world-famous Golden Circle. The first stop will be Þingvellir National Park, surrounded by beautiful mountains and volcanic fields. It is one of the best locations in the world to witness the effects of the tectonic plates splitting. Iceland’s parliament was founded at Þingvellir in the year 930, making it the oldest working parliament in the world. After your stop at Þingvellir, you head over to Gullfoss waterfall, where you get to admire the mighty and beautiful waterfall. After that you head over to Geysir geothermal area where you wait for Strokkur to spout high into the air. Friðheimar tomato farm has the world’s best tomato soup and freshly baked bread plus the desserts are “to die for”. After a beautiful lunch there, you get to rest in the amazing Secret Lagoon before heading to your hotel for the night.


Day 2 - South Coast, Waterfalls & Glacier Hike

After waking up and having breakfast, we start our second day together. Your first stop will be the astonishing Seljalandsfoss waterfall, the water from which comes straight from Eyjafjallajökull. After that, you head over to its neighbour, Skogafoss, which is also originating from the same glacier. Solheimajökull is a beautiful small outlet glacier. Here you can take a glacier walk. The Black Sand Beach at Reynisfjara awaits us and the small fishing village of Vík í Mýrdal. After a good day, we arrive at our hotel for the night.


Day 3 - Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, Diamond Beach, the Ice Cave & return to Reykjavik

After waking up and having breakfast, we start our third day together. The Diamond Beach awaits us with all its rugged mini-glaciers. On the other side, the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon stands in all its glory. From there you could venture inside an ice cave excursion. After a long and glorious day, we head back towards Reykjavik.
